Sensitisation on East African Community Integration Process and Cross – border Trade

Action Green for Trade and Sustainable Development (AGTSD) is a Non-Governmental Organisation that promotes sustainable development for women and people living in poverty and exclusion through Trade Policy and Cross border trade, Regional Integration, Green Economy, Climate Change and Micro-energy.

AGTSD received funding from Akiba Uhaki Foundation towards the implementation of Sensitisation on the EAC integration process and deepening Women’s participation in cross-border trade project, “Vuka Mpaka na Biz-na”® in grassroots areas. AGTSD is implementing the project in collaboration with East African Community (EAC), Ministry of East

African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism.

AGTSD wishes to announce the following grassroots areas in Nairobi for Public Barazas earmarked for the project; Luckysummer, Ruaraka on 19th October 2013, Kasarani on 4th January 2014, and Dagoretti on 1st March 2014. The awareness on Regional Integration and cross border trade for women focused group, advocacy on local and grassroots leaders is on-going. AGTSD is gearing to replicate this project in other parts of East African Community.
